Castable Wax Resin for Sharp Detail and Clean Casting Every Time.
A 20% wax-filled material for reliable casting with zero ash content and clean burnout, Castable Wax Resin accurately captures intricate features and offers the smooth surfaces stereolithography 3D printing is known for. Printed parts are strong enough to handle with no post-cure required, suitable for custom try-ons and direct investment casting.
Supports print resolutions: 50 and 25 microns.
The matte finish of Standard Resins shows detail exceptionally well, making these materials ideal for rapid and cost-effective jewelry prototyping. Robust enough to handle, wear, or even ship to a customer, this material is great for inexpensive custom fittings to give clients and designers peace of mind before casting. Available in Grey, Black, White, and Clear.
Grey Resin is perfect for general purpose prototyping and design, excellent for capturing small details.
Supports print resolutions: 160, 100, 50, and 25 microns.

High Temp Resin has a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 238 °C @ 0.45 MPa—the highest among Formlabs resins. Use it to print detailed, precise prototypes with high thermal stability.
For Vulcanized Rubber Molding. High Temp Resin is strong enough to withstand the temperatures and pressures of medium temperature vulcanized rubber molding.
Separate Resin Tank required for High Temp Resin V1 and V2.
Supports print resolutions: 100, 50 and 25 microns.
Post-curing required with additional thermal treatment to acquire maximum heat deflection temperature of 238°C.
Formlabs Resin Tanks are consumables required for printing with any Formlabs 3D printer which wear over time depending of the material, part orientation and position, layer resolution and model size.
Each material should have it’s own Resin Tank to avoid decrease in print quality and damage to the device.
The Resin Tank blocks light and is made from shatter-resistant polycarbonate. It comes with a reusable lid and wiper, making it easy to stack tanks and store resin outside of the Form 2.
Compatible with Form 2.
This tank was designed for printing in a high volume production environment and offers a longer tank lifetime than standard Form 2 Resin Tank for some Formlabs resins.
